The challenge
Food Bank of the Rockies moves millions of meals across Colorado and Wyoming, and its website is where donors, volunteers, and partner agencies all meet. The site had to communicate the mission clearly, stay easy for staff to update, meet accessibility standards, and support the fundraising drives that come around every year.
What we did
We designed and built an accessible WordPress website, architected to Section 508 and W3C standards, with a CMS the team could run themselves: event calendars, galleries, news, site search, and social integration. Alongside it we designed branded email templates on the Convio platform and built fundraising experiences, a Virtual Food Drive and the Kung Food Fighters campaign. As the mobile web took over, we carried the whole thing into a responsive redesign.
The outcome
A cohesive online presence, website, email, and campaigns, that gave one of the region's largest hunger-relief organizations the tools to tell its story and rally support, year after year.
